A 23 ft Scorpio, around 7 metres: the crane that fits where the big one will not, and still gives you scale.
The smallest of the telescopic Scorpios. Fast to rig and de-rig, it needs less working footprint and can be mounted on a vehicle platform. Widely used in commercials and episodic television, where the shooting pace does not allow long build-ups.

Rigging and timingsoperations
About 45 minutes with two crew. This is the telescopic that rigs and de-rigs in the time of a set-up change, which is why it suits high page-count days.
Site requirementsbefore confirming
Firm ground; 600 kg of structure and up to 1,100 kg with counterweight. A 220 V/16 A supply. It can be mounted on a vehicle platform, which is the configuration that makes it particularly useful on road work. Rear arm of 1.85 m: it fits where the 30+7 will not.

Crane, head, counterweights, base and a crane grip.
When to choose this kit
Commercials, fast-turnaround episodic and interiors a larger crane cannot get through the door. It delivers real scale (6.7 m lens height) without eating the schedule.
